I thought you were not allowed close to that stuff Rick... Nice shot but go easy on the props. :)

Finally! I took a day off to spend some quality time with the J3. These are all shot with the kit lens, 10-30. I'm very pleased with what this little system can do! First shot is a 3 exposure HDR, the rest are single shots.

Ok, so my local shop had the 30-110 (about 80-300), now It's mine :),

A few test shots, first at 30mm, rest at 110. I'm pleased with this lens too :),

These are all incredible, but the second and last photos are my favorites! Beautiful work--and obviously a terrific camera, Rick...and a terrific photographer behind the camera, too! ;)

Thank You! Still experimenting but I'm loving this system. It's nice to have something small for casual times without feeling you have completely lost quality. I'm eventually going to order some 11x14's to really see how it compares.

Rick you nailed it - the Nikon 1 system is fun to use. I'm seriously considering - and have used a few times - an Olympus E-M1. I wouldn't keep both systems but there is something about the 1 Nikkor 6.7-13mm and 18.5mm that keeps me from jumping.

Is that system larger?

Another reason I went with Nikon is it stays in my work flow. Seems not all raw is the same

Yes but they have larger bodies and lenses, which brought me to the CX. Otherwise, I may as we'll carry my D600

I think you'll be surprised. Screenshots from camerashots.com

• Nikon D600 is 8% (10.6 mm) wider and 21% (19.5 mm) taller than Olympus OM-D E-M1.
• Nikon D600 is 30% (18.9 mm) thicker than Olympus OM-D E-M1.
• Nikon D600 [850 g] weights 71% (353 grams) more than Olympus OM-D E-M1 [497 g] (*inc. batteries and memory card).
• Nikon D600 dimensions: 141x113x82 mm (camera body only, excluding protrusion)
• Olympus OM-D E-M1 dimensions: 130.4x93.5x63.1 mm (camera body only, excluding protrusion)

The OM-D EM-1 has a weather sealed magnesium case like the D300, D4, D800, etc.

Here are a couple comparisons to your D600 and J3:
