Biography:
Started photography as a hobby about 35 years ago. Built a darkroom and learned all about the tech end of photos. Learned how to do color at home. Big deal back then. One hour photo started up and I became the manager of the 2nd lab in Alabama. Went from there to managing over 100 labs in the south and then owning two labs for myself. Got burned out shooting and stopped shooting at all and sold the labs. Just now figuring out that I need the creative outlet. The Nikon D5100 and Photoshop CS6 is keeping me busy playing again. See the pictures in this forum are getting me excited again about photography like I was 35 years ago.

Time Drags On.

Thought it would be a lot easier to get around the house in a wheelchair...But wait I have a very nice wheelchair lets see how it works. Get it out of storage, get air in the tires, feels good, easy to get in and out of rolls nice down the hall, goes through the bedroom door (A little tight) Wait, does not fit through the

Day Three of broken leg

This stinks. I am stuck at home because I can't drive with the right leg in a cast. I guess I could move to England so that I could drive but that seems a little extreme. Also because of the recent rotator cuff surgery I can't use crutches or a walker either. The answer is something called a knee walker.

Well I have had Nic Collection a couple of weeks now and I must say I don't know how I ever did without it.

Dfine 2 has to be my favorite part since it is for noise reduction. Even when yoiu really don't see noise using Define just gives it a nicer look.


HDR Efex Pro 2 gives me the control for HDR that lets

Went to a preseason football game tonight with my wife. She has taught many of the kids and always likes to support all of them. I took my camera so I could test a few things out since many people here have expressed an interest in shooting high school football this fall. I was able to get some good shots and I think I will be able to give some good

ON this day in 1975 my sweet bride and I got married. That was so many cameras ago.

Here we are on that day. I don't think we have changed a bit but I do get new glasses later today
