Macro with a Teleconverter

Discovered that I can tele-convert my macro lenses.

Will play with that for a bit and see what happens.

Makes most sense on my Nikkor AFD 105mm 2.8 but will try it later on my AFS 60mm macro too.
The TC is a "Kenko 2X Teleplus Pro 300 DGX" - that's the description on the box. Got it on special from Henry's for $129 CDN.

While it will autofocus I would not bother trying to do so. Really hunts.

This batch were shot on my D610 but will give it a go on my D500 later and maybe one of my other cameras.

For some shots I had the macro light on, but not always. Helps when shooting in the shade but keep in mind the LED light are only useful really close to the subject. Much more than eight inches their effect as fill light really fades.

These were all shot handheld - gotta get that tripod out and even dust off my macro slider gizmo and try that. Lots of toys to play with.
