The Grand Tetons Best Time To Photograph

Hello all,

I am just wondering if the end of September is a good time to shoot the sunset/sunrise of the Grant Tetons surrounded by its fall colors. Is there any cheap lodging ? Sleep in the car ? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your help, G.

i have shot the grand tetons in early september with fall colors just starting, anytime you can shoot the tetons would be a good day. September is still a busy time in the tetons, at the north end of town they have a very good visitors center, they will have a handle on lodging prices $-$$$$. Get into the park early and stay late, wonderful place.
