Thanks , it wasn't as nice of a day as I would have liked ,it was kinda cloudy . I love walking around the woods looking for photo opportunities.

I love walking around the woods looking for photo opportunities.

I'm the same, and I also find if you go back another day, you sometimes see pictures you missed the 1st time.

I seen this one yesterday.

It's an interesting shot, I love the colours. Not sure about the trunk on the left - but I can be talked into it as it does provide some balance. :)

One thing to watch is for chromatic aberration (CA), often where dark meets light, such as the right edge of your tree trunk. Look for the purple fringing. Your processing software will have a button to fix this, within Lightroom, scroll to near the bottom of the right hand "develop" frame. It's in lens adjustments I think.

Thanks @Gorf for your input, :) I will have a look at lightroom to check out lens adjustment.

This is why I like this website, always someone to help you :)

Here's a couple more from my walk.
The other two attachments are from the summer in the same woods , the first is a walkway amongst the woods
the second one is a fireplace leftover from an area that used to house a WW2 radar training center that has long been gone .
