Rainy day and fallen leaves

My year and a half old son experiencing his first Autumn where he can get into it.

This Great Horned Owl Swooped down on my son to see what he was then flew up into this tree. It's mate was one branch lower and just as hard to see. Truthfully if it hadn't swooped down we never would've seen them.

This little baby Porcupine was sitting eating ripe Choke Cherries while hikers and bikers passed by completely oblivious to his presence. I walked up to him slowly and shot this with my 50mm 1.8G. No cropping needed at all. Later when I came by on my return loop he was asleep. Very cute.
