We cannot see the timelapse and can only see this frame. Any chance of including the timelapse? Its a great photo but as I said alot is not exposed or is dark, if its a result of a timelapes then great it should be a wonderful video.

Personally I think the alternate crop below makes for a much stronger image and this is why:

1) the Atlanta skyline is not just some small "bumps" on the horizon
2) it eliminates a ton of featureless negative space on the bottom of the image
3) it places the sun on a vertical third. It is an all too common mistake, in my opinion, to place the subject in the dead center of the frame. It makes the image look static and honestly, more like a snapshot by Aunt Gertrude with a disposable Kodak she got at the drug store than a photograph. Not all images have to abide by the rule of thirds, nothing is set in stone, but in this case, I think it is very applicable and compositionally the right thing to do.
