    Thanks Nikonpup,

It was a fun couple of days despite the weather and the old steam trains rumbling in and out of the station complimented the re-enactors very well and added to a nostalgic theme.

I am delighted with the D500 / 24-120mm combo for general shooting and the images are as you say nice and clear / sharp.

Thanks JH Foto - the Exif is in the bottom right corner of the frame - all images taken using the 24-120mm f4 lens.

    Thanks JH Photo,

Unfortunately the EXIF does not show the fact it was a zoom lens I used but it does provide the rest of the info.

    Bubbles & CoolWhip

I was out the other day at the Big Four Depot in Galion & met two new friends. Bubbles the Road Slug & CoolWhip the GP40-2. Bubbles was very quiet, but CoolWhip burbled contently. Kind of cool that the crew named their locomotives.

    Re: Post your Train shots!

In a Trains Magazine from long ago I recall a photo of the cab side of a PC locomotive where the crew had carefully stenciled silhouettes of cars, dogs and whatever else they'd hit with their unit. The area under the window looked like a WW-II fighter plane.

More good shots. Galion looks like a nice spot with open views and good light. I wonder if there's a sidewalk up on the highway bridge?
