Just got my new Eye-Fi

so I have been reading and weighing in on the purchase of an eye fi sd card and finally did it- figured it would probably save having all my photos sit on my camera, lol. so I now have the Pro X2 + wi fi....so far so good, loving how I can just take a photo and it does the work.

Yep. I got one a few months ago and I love it. I use mine to beam photos to my iPad to show clients while I'm shooting on location. Very very cool

Congrats. Mine downloads to my iMac as well my SmugMug online site. It sure saves on carrying a bunch of memory cards around. The eye-fi card will also wirelessly tether to you iMac or iPad. You can program it to erase itself when the files are confirmed downloaded. Good luck & have fun.

When on vacation in the wild west this past Summer I also carried a rechargeable hard drive that can read SD or CF memory cards really fast. It's called the Colorfast drive. The charge lasts long enough to fill its 250 Gig hard drive.

I've never tried one of those cards...hmmmmm....I'm thinking I'll have to change that!

LOL omg, Brock-Vegas! You know you know a local when you read that lmao! Yup, been here for about 16 years and decided that I'll probably stick around for many more years (was gonna move to Kingston or some place once I was through with my college program but mehhhhh why move?)

I'm using Direct mode - and its working fine....now I can see my shots on my iPad shortly after taking them. cool
