So I went out shooting this weekend with the lens. Damn it's a great lens. Very sharp. Haven't done much with the flash. I will have to read the manual to figure everything out on that.

Here is a shot from this weekend at 300mm 1/500 f/5.6

Ah, OK...I see where you're coming from now. :) Well, what I took from Will's post is that he's happy for you in your new gear acquisition, and just wanted to share other posts of what some of the others, including himself, got as new equipment, too. At least, that's how I took it. I'm sure he wasn't "policing" where you put this post. :) That's my job. :)

Yeah, holy sh*t dude. I'm hardly a "senior member" on here (though my user title says otherwise) and I'm not policing anyone. I am a moderator on another forum and I guess I do have a predisposition to keeping the boards organized and related posts together to prevent clutter. Also, it is usually general forum etiquette to search for related threads before making a new thread, but that doesn't seem to apply around here (maybe that's why this place is so slow?). I don't see how you took any offense from that though, I was merely suggesting that maybe you could share in that thread with everyone else. Maybe you should crack open a cold one, smoke a joint, pop an anti-depressant, do whatever you feel necessary to chill the F out. You could also keep attacking the actual moderator on here and see where that gets you.

Conrgats on the purchase. ;)

Wow your're a MOD on another forum? Which one is? I just don't want to make the mistake of joining it :) - maybe you should take your own advice and crack a cold on, or smoke a joint! :)

Not to worry, it is a VW/Audi-specific forum so I'm sure you have little to no interest of going there. You could find it with a little internet savvy if you really wanted to though. Anywho, I realize I may have come off a little harsh with that last post. I was trying to show the man the thread in case he didn't see it and would like to contribute, I don't think that was deserving of him jumping down my throat. In either case, I did take my own advice and enjoyed a cold DFH Raison d'Etre with a bit of the "kindness" to really settle the mind. I apologize for the outburst, just trying to help and it got out of hand quickly.
