The early hours might have rain clearing out around here. I'll be prepared though.

Lovely cloud cover until about 8pm. We have crappy air quality thanks to the 2 fires in the area, so I just closed my windows because my troat started getting scratchy. Even though we have moderate air quality, it is enough to start bothering me. I don’t know if I am going to set-up to get a few shots.

We have cloud cover and it's spotty, but it looks like rain and cloudy thru about 1 am here... It'll clear up right after the eclipse...

No prize on this one other than first to post. A jpeg nearly as it was saved on my Z5. No tracking telescope mount and kind of slow exposure with the ISO cranked up high. I could not get a spot where Polaris was visible and a tree not blocking my view of the moon.

Best I could get with my D500 and 500pf just a regular tripod.

My attempts were pretty bad. We had 2 fires in the area with lots of haze coming from the Laguna fire blowing into the area. The shooting conditions were terrible.

I thought I was going to miss it, it was mostly cloudy all day. It cleared up about 30 minutes before the eclipse started.
