I know there is nothing special or artistic about this shot, but the way the AF-S 35mm f/1.8G, shot wide open, renders the image, it makes me want to go back to 1920 and spend time riding this motorcycle. I keep looking at this shot, again and again. Maybe it's not as appealing to non-motorcyclists...
This one is my favorite - not because it's a stellar image but because of the meaning behind it. While doing their job, two Pennsylvania State Police Troopers were killed on I-95 by a drunk driver. This is only a fraction of the police who attended to ride in the funeral procession. It shows police from New York. There were others from Pittsburgh (the other end of Pennsylvania) as well as from Newark (don't know if that is Newark, Delaware or New Jersey). But the fact that these fine first responders (as well as others) took the time to drive all the way here gives the entire collection I shot a great deal of meaning.
