    I can't really say I have one favorite, but photographing Burrowing Owls was probably the most fun I had last year.

    Great shot, Woody!

    I have yet to even see an owl although they are around. During the summer nights, I'd even hear their hoots but could never determine from where they came. And I live in the suburbs!

    I haven't done as much photography in 2019 as I would like, as it's been a really tough year (6.4 and 7.1 earthquakes here in Ridgecrest, CA), but this is my favorite one.

    Welcome! I love that picture - the horizontal line of the feather being preened absolutely makes it. Great shot!

    I hope 2020 is less groundshaking for you than 2019 was.
