Back Button focusing with left eye

I been reading about BBF ing and set up my Nikon D7000 for the AE_L/AF_L button. My left eye is my master eye (and I wear glasses) and I view the view finder with left eye; which, I find very difficult using the BBF button. I've not seen any comments on this. Do other people all use their right eyes? Seems the cameras are set up tse the right eye. i have a hard time even looking through view finder with right eye. Any comments or suggestions welcome.....:(

I also use BBF and I am left eye dominant. I do not wear glasses, however and it hasn't bothered me too much however I have kicked the idea around of using the Hoodman Eye cups also. This is for two reasons: One the sun-glare leak that occurs at times and second the lesser reason of the BBF issue.

That sounds like a good idea! Thanks

I too am Left Eye dominant and where glasses and like @nikonpup use the Hoodman eye cup on my D7200 and my Z6. They both work great. I will admit the one for the D7200 looked a bit like it may not work with glasses, but I went for it and am glad I did. It not only helped give me additional room for BBF, but it also helped me on sunny days.
