Infrared question - Can't find IR thread ;

If I shoot IR on Mono/B+W setting...am I missing out on any IR because I am not shooting in color mode-then converting ?

Both Kolari and LifePixel have numerous tutorials on their websites. LifePixel recommends creating a custom preset white-balance by shooting green grass... Have you done that? Kolari has several Photoshop Actions that you can download that do all the color swapping... suggest you explore those...

You're not missing out on the infrared part of the spectrum, but you'll be missing out in the ability to address color data when post-processing. Shoot raw and in B&W mode to 'proof' the image on the camera's monitor.
