Jeff, just couldn't remember how to move the cursor without deleting and starting over.

I edited my post showing how to edit the D5100 and the D7100.

I had someone stealing a lot of my photos and posting them on another website. The guy was telling everyone where and when he took the pictures which really ticked me off. I contacted the moderator of the site and told him to check out the EXF data on each of the pictures and he would find that it actually said "Copyright by Jeff Impey and the year" and that person was banned from the site and the photos pulled. Was easy to prove they were mine.

By the way, I was not flattered at all!!!

Actually I am a 'published' photographer. State of Texas tourism. But I'm not a "pro" since I have a no-charge policy.

I will give you something to think about.

A long time ago I asked the question on how to price my work and this is the answer I got. Some people charge very little for copies of their work and some don't charge at all but the answer that has always stuck with me over the years is this.... and I quote,

"If you don't think your work is worth much, neither will anyone else"

Just because one person does not attach a monetary value to their work does not mean everyone else should as well.

I really don't consider myself 'pro' either as I don't use shutter actuations to put food on the table. I do sell images, but not through commissioned work. I merely enjoy photography, and manage to sell a couple hundred bucks' worth every year.

Towards that end, I'd respond to any theft of my work.

Whether or not you use the copyright EXIF data or not, you may want to double-check the date & time the camera is running at. I found my 4 DSLRs were anywhere from 4 minutes slow to 12 minutes fast. And one was on the wrong time zone!
