Best compact camera

First of all my english is not that great, sorry for that.
In a few weeks i'm going on vacation to the alps (skiing) and i want to take some nice photo's but not with my smartphone.

I want to buy a compact camera.

Wich one should i buy for shooting in the mountains?
Do you know other (better) good compact camera's?

Alternatively, you can refer to the camera described in this article and tell me which one is the best. I am really confused. I want to know the answer urgently.

Welcome to the forum. A lot of it depends on your budget but you might want to look at the Nikon Coolpix line and see if any of them fit what you want

As Don said, your budget is key to what you get. Also what is your main interest? Is it mountain landscapes, people shots, or action shots of skiing? This would also make a big difference on camera selection.

You probably would want a camera that is small enough to fit in your parka's pockets. Nikon offers a few but I'm not aware of their offer. I have a few friends that are using Sony and are more than happy with them. Make sure that you choose one with a viewfinder as looking at the screen in full sunlight with snow around makes it almost impossible to really see what you're getting. I think Nikon makes one that is water and shock proof, but not certain they have a viewfinder.

Where are you going exactly? (just curious as I've been to a few places for ski trips in Europe).
