Gloucester Cathedral Architecture

I was back at the cathedral today to grab some more images of the cloisters and images inside the main building (avoiding the refurbishment work).

All images shot hand held with the DF and 24-120mm f4 lens.

Thanks nikonpup for the kind words, it is a very impressive cathedral.

My understanding is that no.2 is where the monks would wash in the old days hence the concave trough - can't be 100% sure though.

It is a very majestic building that inspires and offers good subject matter.

It was used in some of the Harry Potter films.
