Changed/Altered my autofocus settings

After watching a few video tips on the D500 i have changed a few setting on my camera, it seemed to work ok today although i really didnt have much to test it on. I have the BBF set up for Continuous AF with the group mode and then i programmed the FN button to be Continuous AF with a single point focus (FBF lol). The idea is to be able to switch between group and single point real quick (let go of your thumb and press your fore finger), i think i may end up reversing the buttons as i would probably shoot in single point alot more, but i will see how i get along tomorrow at the lake.

Here's the clip i watched, i did follow his instructions but modified it a little, lets see how it works for me.

I have tried the Group focus with my D750 a couple times when shooting BIF and have been pretty happy with it. Need to practice with it a little more before February at Lakeland at the Meet and Greet.

So is that a 800/500/single digit thing or - the Fn being able to be a secondary AF setting to main? This can be VERY helpful for my work, but to be able to quickly use single point or a 9 point group.

Seems like a good idea but I am going to have to think about it a bit. I understand the logic I am just not sure I have the memory for it... then there is the whole camera blowing up thing that @RocketCowboy and Kevin H were talking about. I am not sure I could handle another head injury :cheerful:

used it pretty easy today, tried taking shots in both modes to see if there was any difference, none noticeable to my eyes, horrible day though, its easy enough switching back and forth, alot easier than going from half pressing the shutter to learning back button focus.
