Gloucester Cathedral cloisters

I went to the Cathedral the other day as I wanted to photograph the cloisters - they were used for filming in 3 of the Harry Potter films.

There is currently construction work taking place inside and outside the cathedral but I was still able to get into the cloisters and take photos as well as a shot of the main part of the cathedral.

All photos with the DF and 24mm f2.8 AF-D.

Great shots, like them. Unfortunately (which you had no control over) the modern chrome and plastic chairs sure destroy the main cathedral look.

Thanks Brent, I am annoyed that I did not notice they were all metered in Spot rather than matrix but they still came out ok!

The main cathedral is stunning with a beautiful old ceiling that just radiates the light around - alas the chairs were laid out ready for a service.

I am very pleased with how well the DF captures images without the use of a flash or tripod - loving this camera for documentary / street work.
