The horizon doesn't look straight, but it's due to the land curving in closer on the right side of the image. This is a new dock that just opened earlier this year in hopes of bringing more business to the town. Right before I took this photo, there was a lot of yelling going on down there. When they came up, they were holding hands and laughing. I was told they bumped the dock but fortunately no damage occurred to the dock or boat. There is a locked gate at the top of the ramp, and someone with a key unlocks it for each person or group who are going to or from the docked boats.

I don't know if this is my fav or not. August was a disappointment. I'm in a terrible slump. Feeling like I'm spending way to much time, energy, thought and money on this "hobby." Think I'd like to take a vacation that doesn't include photographing ANYTHING. Just go somewhere nice and "be."
