Almost makes you want to defect...almost

I don't think Canon is the answer. If I were to change brands, it would probably be for mirrorless ... most likely Fuji, but that's not happening anytime soon. (for me)

Same. I love them, but I still can't take em seriously as a reliable workhorse for low-light/AF/battery life.

And every time I have to google where the f* rear curtain sync is on a Canon to show newbies how to use that in clubs it makes my blood boil that a hot shoe FLASH settings is NOT in the flash's menu, but rather in the camera....

Also what's the % of pro sports photogs compared to the rest of the genres?

Why can't you have both? If my D750 craps out again I might be looking at another brand for a landscape camera. Still would keep the D500 for other stuff. For landscapes I would only need one lens anyway so it's not like I would have to reinvest much in that.

Right now, I get to borrow the Fuji gear when needed, so that's part of the reason why I do y have both. That, and the wife would probably not be thrilled with more camera purchases unless I was selling Nikon gear to pay for the Fuji gear. And my first Fuji purchase would need to be a stack of batteries.
