No doubt Nikon could put in a sensor that rivals the D5, but I bet it would come with a much higher price tag than the current D750!

I am thinking that there is not only a mirror involved in this article, but lots of smoke.... lots and lots of smoke. Oz

I'd be desperately interested to see what the unprocessed raw file looks like. I remember when the D750 came out and one of the first photographers with it shot something that was (IIRC) 7 to 9 stops underexposed and then adjusted the exposure in post showing not just details but proper colors. If that advanced consumer level sensor can do that it's not hard to convince me that advances since could manage to capture even more detail and color in underexposed images.

In other words, if the guy is telling you these shots are SOOC then I call BS. But I buy that it's possible that he was able to pull them off in post from severely underexposed images.

Wonder if it behaves similar to the Df sensor. That is great in poor light but a bit washed out in bright conditions.

I would like to own that D750 test mule.

Interesting the location. Dark dreary weather maybe? Is there a major service center near there?

Next great thing will be a sensor that makes nudes out of fully clothed people. Shooting in the dark will be a passing fad.
