It is amazing isn't it. They controlled all this stuff with analog gauges and control logic that, compared to today's controls, had very slow response times, yet it still worked. It amazes me.
As much as I joke about easy things "it's not like it's rocket science," nuclear physics and reactor theory is wild stuff.
