All I can say is some great images are being posted in this thread. If only I would have had a DSLR a few years ago when I worked for the Air Force. Many shots could have been had. Ha! And @jay_dean, that nose shot looks like an A-10 Warthog/Tank killer. Pretty sure I am right, even though I never liked looking at one from that angle. Ha!!

Ha! It was a "gimme" on that. I worked for the US Air Force and the base I where I worked was a home base for the A-10's. I saw MANY! Ha!

Seeing as though i am up in Canada, i don't really get to see much of the US Air Force. Though, when i go down to Plattsburgh, i always like to take a look at the B-47 that is on static display in front of the old Plattsburgh Air Force Base:
