It was a great trip meeting up with @Don Kuykendall and his better half. The two of them were fun to shoot with.
The Don... Don is a big guy, and an older gentleman, but his youth is inside his camera. You might think with all Don's photography years he might wane in his excitement to photograph something. I can assure you that is not the case. We spent time shooting in Arches National Park and at Dead Horse Point. The youth in Don's camera dragged him up down and all around on the rocks.
Don is incredibly computer and technologically savvy. Most impressive is how he has all of his photography organized. Without a doubt Don could find a needle in a haystack while others are trying to find the haystack.
Gloria... Gloria is a small lady that is big in presence. Maybe it's the way she carries herself, or maybe her years as a school teacher, but she has that something about her that speaks loudly even though she doesn't. It was great watching her practice her photography and never seemed to get impatient or frustrated as she was learning the ins and outs.
Don and Gloria... The two of them are Alabama fans - understatement! As we spent the day shooting, the two of them were always on top of the score of the game back home.
The two of them are great people and it was time well spent.
