Attended the Gettysburg Reenactment yesterday. Decided to do a little post processing. A little time consuming so it may take awhile to get stuff posted. I will start with shots representing camp life.

Nice shots. I did a camera shoot in Gettysburg PA with Raymond Gehman former photographer with National Geographic this past spring. Thanks for sharing.

Fine pictures Alan! Thank you.

I once saw a story about the final gathering of U.S. Civil War veterans in 1938, as the remaining few men averaged 90 Years old. It was the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. The meet was a tearful affair, as the last of their generation was to soon pass away. Fortunately the technology of the day was able to capture some of the events on movie film I think.

I have seen some of that film. It is amazing to see those men shaking hands over the wall they once fought over.

One of my favorite places.....well captured. I would sure like to see some pics in modern color processing as well or perhaps another thread.

Really wanted to make the 150th for both Gettysburg and Antietam/Sharpsburg.

Life got in the way.

Sometimes I get carried away when I am playing with stuff. There was a group there reenacting the Regiment and Company my Great Grandfather and his brother were in. Had to have a picture with their sign, kind of a tribute to them.

Thanks. I will most likely be posting some color stuff here as well. I took over three hundred shots and will never do this to a lot of them. Too time consuming.
