This encompasses over a half century and actually started with an obscura made out of a shoe box.

I've had Kodak, Polaroid, Olympus, Minolta, Canon, Nikon, Lytro and so on, ad nauseum.

My latest is my last camera. I am getting to the age of far too many trembles and carrying a lot of equipment

is proving far more hassle than useful.

But its been a hell of a life.

Too many to list... my first was a Brownie "Bullet" in 1957... It was a prize in a sales contest for the San Francisco Examiner... I was a paperboy at 11years old, and won the camera for selling newspapers...

probably a hundred more between then and now... still have 15 or 20

I started with a Kodak 110, then bought a Minolta 450e 110, then I went into the SLR's with:

1.) Minolta Maxum 7000i

2.) Nikon D5100

3.) Nikon D7100

4.) Nikon D610

5.) Sony A7

6.) Nikon D7100 (again)

That pretty much sums it up to now. Happy with all my purchases.

Perhaps some explaining first, after my late wife left the studio she served her time at she ran a camera shop for a few years before we opened our own studio, this gave me access to loads of secondhand gear i could buy and trade back at little cost, this list is by no means complete its just the best my memory can manage :D
I also had the benefit of my own semi automatic color print dark room as we did some work of a confidential nature (not porn) so the film and prints had to be done in house,we only got the contract because other pro photographers would not part with the negs, which was stupid as we priced for that and the negs and prints where destroyed after use by the client.
