Puffins in the rain..

A few Puffins from our recent trip to the isle of Mull..the weather was awfull with high winds and heavy rain, still it made for a interesting boat trip to the island..

I really like the splashes of color in the first two...first rate sir...I think those birds were showing off for you!

Excellent shots. Not only are the colours appealing, there is a great deal of detail in the pictures, great work. Ca you please let us know the lens that you used?

I shot these picture's with a D90 and used a Sigma 50-500 OS lens, it seemed to cope ok as the light was awfull...
