We don't get much color around here, mostly yellows and browns. Here's one from yesterday that captures a few floating, fallen leaves.

ALL great pics, as usual, Marcel... but have to ask. What edit/effect was used for this one? I've seen you use it a few times, but couldn't find it in a quick search, and *LOVE* the oil painting feel to it.

It's in the filter section in CS6 as "oil paint" filter. The thing is it's a bit limiting when used on a full size file. So I apply it once on the full size image, then reduce the image's size and then re-apply again and then fade or/and partially mask certain areas and reduce opacity till I get what I like. It's been taken out of the latest CC version but fortunately I still have an older version available that I use just for that purpose.

Here in Sacramento, we have Summer and we have Winter, with just the briefest bits of good weather in the transition between too hot and too cold. If you blink, you'll miss it.
