Hi Everybody-

I have a question to all of you out there. Does anybody know where I can find a website that can offer places that have good run down buildings to shoot in???

I can find sites that offer images of all kinds of urban decay photography, but none offer to compile places to go,,, or that are great places where there might be good examples of urban decay to shoot.

Thanks for looking and any thoughts /advise you can offer.

Sincerely- Douglas

As a former resident of Columbus myself, I can tell you that you're in no danger of running out of places of urban decay to shoot. Depending on your level of bravery and sense of personal safety, you can head downtown to Parson Ave. near the old railyard. Just about anywhere south of downtown has lots of interesting buildings (and people for that matter) to shoot. Campus area is another good spot.

The best thing to do is just get in your car and go.

Also...

Check out Google or Bing's satellite maps. The Bing bird's eye view maps give 3D images where you can see all sides of buildings and not just the rooftop.

I love this type of photography, it tells such as story of things that were.
Its very artistic and pushes ones limits of imagination..

HI Anthony-

Thanks so much, I will check out the area toward the old railroad (sounds like fun), and other areas as well.
