Hi all I was driving home from work the other day and the sunset looked very nice but with no safe place to stop I rolled the window down and click click ( photo up later today ) and thought it would be an interesting thread ! So let's see some drive by shooting .

I just made this thread a "sticky". I think it deserves to be up there for others to contribute to. I'll put in my photos when I get back home.

Couldn't believe Chris got behind this guy. If you see any spots, it's not from my recently cleaned sensor, it's my Jeep windshield.

I don't know how you guys shoot and drive, I was a passenger and had trouble, but then again, no one has ever cut a diamond or performed a circumcision in a moving Jeep!

These were both taken on the fly while a passenger. I don't drive very often as it is, but my camera is ALWAYS in hand when riding. The Camaro was at about 70mph, and the Volvo around 45mph. The Volvo was a buddy of mine, and we were headed home from work when I snapped it. This photo actually got the car sold for him, so I'm rather proud of it!

These are the unaltered versions of the photos I have on my site. These were too static for my taste, so I added a bit of a blur to both of them with photoshop, and they came out pretty good. Given my knowledge of photoshop (nil), I'm pretty impressed!

Do you guys just drive with your camera right next to you or something?? Lol my camera is always disassembled properly organized in its bag when not in use lol. Tempted to just have it my car at all times but I've already had it broken into before.

If I'm driving, it's in my bag. If I'm the passenger, it's in my lap.

I have a small camera next to me in the middle console, you never know what happens.
It happens a lot that I do not feel like getting out of the car, I might indeed pick up the Nikon from the back of the car when I´m standing still somewhere.

I was out riding on the ATV on Sunday.A Ruffed Grouse flies up into a tree and stays there with another bird infront of him.I didn't won't them to fly away,so I left the bike running and took the shot.Had the Tamron 90mm on the D300.I stayed in my seat.
