Nikkor-H Auto non AI 50mm f/2.0

How can I get this to work on my D3100? I bought it on Ebay for $12. I wanted to find a really old lens and see if it worked on my new camera. I didn't buy it to use really. Sort of a cool memento. I collect stuff so if I can't get it to work, no biggy. Thanks!

Yes it will work...like I told you before almost every Nikkor made since 1959 will work on your camera there are very very few exceptions and you probably wouldn't run across those lenses anyways...

Do you have the lens in hand? From my experience with Nikkor 50's...I have shot all of the old ones almost except for the 2.0...the 1.8 is the best...I think I have read good things about the 2.0 also..I believe the old H auto may even be a Sonnar formula which means she'll make soft glowing portraits...

BTW..the 50/2 H is a pancake so it is gonna balance spectaculary with your camera body...it is definately an antique sleeper lens...all metal construction..metal gears...one fingerwill easily manipulate the focus ring throughout it's full range... $12 bucks huh? You are going to be blown away sir...

I scout ebay all the time. Sometimes people put it in the wrong category so i always search all categories instead of breaking it down. I collect Baseball Autos and have found some great deals this way.
