Odd issue with Sigma lens

I have recently purchased a Sigma 70-200mm f 2.8. It has been working great on my D7100. When I tried to use the lens on my D600, I get a funky "flickering" of the AF info on the LCD of the D600 and no AF. If I turn the AF off, the flickering stops. Suggestions? TIA

Is your version of that lens compatible with the Sigma dock and, if it is, have you checked for firmware updates?

Thanks, Paul. From what I read, it is compatible with the dock and I am presently trying to find someone local with a dock who can check for a firmware update. If that is the fix, I guess I will have to invest in a dock. Thanks again

Thge Sigma USB dock is compatible with Art, Contemporary, or Sports lenses. Make sure you have one of those. If not you will have to send the lens to Sigma for a firmware update.

Thank you, Bengan. My lens is listed as supported by the dock but, being somewhat leery, I want to try before I buy, hence my looking for someone local who might try my lens in their dock. Also, I have yet to find a listed firmware update. Thanks for the reply

You might want to call Sigma. They would verify the dock will work on your lens and if they have an update that will resolve this issue.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I have learned several things: my lens is not compatible with the USB dock and the issue was with my recent firmware update, it seems it and the Sigma do not play well together. Happy ending: I downgraded my firmware and the lens is working as it should. Thanks again!
