Looking for a 18 ish to max 200mm

I have left what i want a bit loose as ime not sure what is about or what i want and fairly decent IQ,i cant see me ever wanting more than web posting so i think that could include more lenses to choose from,don't really want to spend more than £200 as it could only go on my D500 a few times a year but sometimes i just need/want a smaller lens than the 100-400.

Looking at the Nikon D range a bit but the only one i know that is fairly good is the 28-105.

Any suggestions please for any lens you know is decent,not bothered what make.

I would highly recommend the first generation[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]AF-S Zoom-Nikkor ED 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF DX VR. The first generation is the one made in Japan and has the red VR logo. See my gallery for many examples on both my D200 and D7200. I am not sure what the pricing of a used one is on your side of the pond, but I find it to be a great lens.

Yes. like that one. Plus, if you look on the bottom of the lens you will see "made in Japan". From everything I have heard, this lens has better IQ than the later ones made elsewhere. And while the IQ is not as good as say my Nikon 80-200 f2.8 D lens, it is plenty good for your purposes.
