Props to Sigma
Sigma customer service has always been second to none in my experience, but they upped the ante this week. On Wednesday I sent my 105mm back for a firmware upgrade to fix any issues with the D500. UPS just dropped it back at my house an hour ago. I'm one day away for shipping, so this means Sigma received it, updated it, and shipped it back in the same business day. They told me these things shouldn't take more than 48 hours, but this had to take less than 6.
I suspect this isn't typical, but it's pretty darn impressive.

Just tells me nobody sends their lens back to updated... and they've got techs standing around with their hands in their pockets looking for something to do...

Sigma has been nothing but awesome for me as well. Real, live bodies that answer the phone and actually know their products? That's refreshing. They even fine tuned the AF on my Art series primes, at four different distances, for free. Turn around time was about a week.

Kind of like the lonely, Maytag repair man... Products so good, their tech's are bored to death.
