Has anyone used the new Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 AF-S?

I am really considering buying it at some point, and if anyone here has one, or used one, what were your thoughts of this lens?

I have one and like it a lot here are some samples:

I'm seriously considering either getting this lens or a 70-200 f/2.8 and a TC for my trip to Glacier. It's a tough call which of these two ways to go since they both pretty much put me in the same place. I am leaning toward the 70-200mm since it will double as a fast(ish) lens when off of the TC. But I do like the IQ this new lens delivers. Ugh...decisions, decisions.

Even better with the D800 & D4

I'm seriously thinking about this lens too. The price is just such a turn off, but compared to pro lenses it's a bargain.

I currently own the D7000, that with the 300mm lens I own gave me such great shots in Vancouver.

That's a great combo as well. Add a 1.4 Nikon TC and you have 600mm + lens
