This long zoom lens is within my budget and I am thinking of buying it.
I read the standard reviews which Google brings on first page of search.
Looks like quite a mixed review. I understand it won't be super sharp but I am not a pixel peeper anyway
Is there any obvious disadvantage to this lens?
I see that Sigma 18-250 is newer but more expensive. Is it that much better to warrant extra cost (£255 vs £350)?
I think my D3100's built in distortion control won't work with 3rd party lenses. How bad is distortion in real life?
