Just bought a used Nikon 18-200 dx lens and I have a question about it.

The lens looks in excellent condition but when the VR mode is on there is a audible click in the lens when I push the shutter button.
My 18-105 dx lens does not do this.
Is this normal or should I be concerned or even return the lens?

My VR lens is the 18 - 55 kit lens, it clicks when the shutter is half pressed, then again when it's released.
You will also notice a slight movement through the viewfinder, it's just the VR part of the lens becoming active. Nothing to worry about.

yes,, as long as the hand held shots are good,,

remember to turn it off for any tripod shots, or you will create blur. Kinda a pain to remember.
