    D5500 & D7200 to be discontinued

    Not sure how Nikon will progress with their entry level models. The D7200 *might* be the last of the dual-slot lower end bodies.

    It will be interesting. I suspect maybe a Z55 or 72. Depending on how Z sales are doing for Nikon, they might very well be tempted to put that research input to work on a APCS sensor. If they feel they can sell new lenses (it would have to be a new lens mount AND an adapter for older F mount lenses), they'll certainly go for it. Market demands have to be met by suppliers or another company will hop in and nibble on your shares of market.
