Nikon Coolpix A

It is here. Still playing with it. More to follow on the review. A baby D7000 without the AA filter. :D

Got it at a very good price (new). This will be my new pocket camera that accepts Nikon flash in iTTL mode. Perfect travel camera.

Nice one Glenn. I would be interested how it performs in low light.

I got the landscape and macro out of the way. The lens is pretty wide and looks sharp SOOC.

I mounted my SB 900 and works very well indoors. I can finally have a compact camera that has iTTL.

The only thing that I miss compared to my Fuji X-10 is the zoom.

This can shoot around 7 to 8 Fps before the buffer slows down in RAW plus jpg.

Face recognition works very well especially with group shots.

We'll see how long will the battery last since it does not have a built-in optical view finder.

For $400, this is a great pocket camera.

Seems to be a real nice IQ with this little one. Unfortunately for me, I would prefer a camera with a viewfinder. For me, the viewfinder is a must.

I am surprised by its IQ too Marcel. I prefer this over my Fujifilm X10 due to the fact that it can do iTTL with our Nikon flash, performs better at higher ISO level and is much slimmer which doesn't stick out as much when placed in our pants. I never used the view finder of the Fuji since it was only covering 85%. The Fuji X10 was limited to ISO 400 before it starts getting noisier. With this camera, I can go with ISO 1,600. The bokeh is only so so but I don't expect a lot for a 18.5mm lens.
