Soon to no longer belong to the D5100 club

Sorry my friends, but I'm afraid I won't qualify as a D5100 owner/user soon. I'm having to trade off my D5100 to a friend to get some work done around the house. No reflection on the Nikon model, but it seemed the best one to trade to get the job done without losing a Nikon I like more. Besides the d5100 has features that appeal to my friend's wife I think! Lol :)
I don't think I will be getting any other Nikon's in the D5XXX series, since ultimately I'm eventually heading for the full frame Nikon models. But hopefully my friend's wife will be interested in joining nikonites! :D

Well I just thought I'd keep you updated on the change in my Nikon line up! :)

Well my D5100 was just picked up 5mins ago. Truthfully I was sad to see it go. But so it goes in life sometimes. :(

Oh I'm not leaving the forum! Lol :D I'm just no longer a D5100 owner/user! I own/use a D3100, a D90, and a D300! :D
But thank you for the kind thoughts, and for wanting me to stay around! I will likely be a member for life, and I doubt I'd ever switch DSLR brands! :D

Lol It's my friend's wife who will end up with the Nikon! Lol I have no clue if she's into forums. But I did put a couple nikonite cards in with it, just in hopes that she would join up! Lol :D
My friend himself isn't into cameras at all, and I had to explain that the D5100 wasn't a film camera! Lol :D
If she calls me, I'll try to talk her into joining nikonites! She can't go wrong joining this site with a practically new D5100 to play with! :D
So.....when is your friend signing up to Nikonites?

I am also leaving the ranks of the D5100 owners also. I sold my D5100 last night. I will miss it too. My wife though will enjoy the new lens I am buying her for her D7000

Better update your profile then my friend! Lol ;)
You've sure produced some awesome shots with your D5100 during the time you've owned it bud! :D

Thank you Bill. I have enjoyed that camera and it never disappointing. The only reason I wanted the D7000 was for the commander mode and the weather proofing that it has. Now the D7100 is just eye candy. That is one sweet camera.
