Looks like it's seen better days!
Hope the mechanicals are in better shape than the body.Looks like it's seen better days!
I have always been attracted to those. Great looking GTI and you even found it parked by the tracks. Train spotting and car spotting, perfect! As found at Cary, NC (USA) last weekend, a lovely 2007 VW Mk-5 Fahrenheit Edition GTI in Magma Orange with 18" alloy wheels. Only 1,200 were produced and are a rare find today. It's nice to see these in original condition. The Fahrenheit Edition was expensive, selling at $28,000, an inflation-adjusted price of $42,000 today. [D5100]

How good is their battery performance (mileage)? How convenient and costful is their battery charging? The price tag?Volkswagen's ID.Buzz EV Van is beginning to arrive at U.S. Dealers. We were at our Dealer having my wife's '17 Golf 5-Speed serviced and the Service Manager invited us back for a sneak peak before they hit the showroom. We love the cheerful two-tone colors that harken back to storied VW vans from an earlier era. Here, one is in Pomelo Yellow and Candy White and the other in Mahi Green and Candy White. Cabana Blue, Energetic Orange, Cherry Red, Indium Gray and Metro Silver Metallic are also listed.

Only 190 Miles from what I read and more than a few Dealers are trying to extract pricing far above MSRP from eager buyers. Europe is also offered a shorter two-row version which is not available in the North American market. How good is their battery performance (mileage)? How convenient and costful is their battery charging? The price tag?
The EPA rating is 234 Miles (at 70 mph using 95 percent of a full charge), but two publications rated its useful range at 190, which I assume figures that few owners will want to risk discharging the battery to 5%. Charging from 5% to 80% takes 33 minutes at a "fast" charger and 49 minutes to get to a full charge. I wonder if EV owners waiting in line at charging stations begin to lose patience with EV owners ahead of them in line who want a full charge?Full battery can only run 190 miles? Anyone interested?
