Please give me advice, I'm wanting to buy d3200. Thread closed.

It was a very old thread and there was no need for people to respond to it after two years especially when the op had never checked in. If you have questions start a new thread and ask away

Hi Don lol I am not complaining and fully realise why the thread had to be closed but it did give me a bit of a chuckle as a lot of answers given were related to questions I wished I had asked and then the thread closed lol best wises Brian

Why if the D31/2/3XX are all the same camera essentially. All of the pertinent information is available through that model line.

Hi I have filled in some information on my profile page and have a question as my D3200 has arrived and taking a photo of the same view with my D70 and D3200 with the same Lens NIKON AF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6G and both in green Auto mode why is the D70 a much better photo Brian.

Posting photos with EXIF data will be helpful for any discussion. With the d3200 being a higher pixel count, shooting technique is more important. Are you shooting jepg or raw?

If shooting jepg here are some recommended settings changes.

Hi I am shooting jpeg and I have noticed that the photos that everyone else posts have the EXIF data on them and I don't ,I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and assumed it would automatically add the data so unless there is a way of ticking a box somewhere it may not have that function, but thanks, Brian.

Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) {0x829A} = 10/6400 second ===> 1/640 second ===> 0.00156 second
Lens F-Number / F-Stop {0x829D} = 35/10 ===> ƒ/3.5
Original Date/Time {0x9003} = 2016:04:03 13:43:44
Exposure Bias (EV) {0x9204} = -2/6 ===> -0.33
Flash {0x9209} = Flash did not fire
Focal Length {0x920A} = 180/10 mm ===> 18 mm
Image Width {0xA002} = 2240 pixels
Image Height {0xA003} = 1488 pixels

Yes at last it looks like it has worked because the settings are showing up,or is it working now loll

If you use Adobe menu File - Save For Web, it will remove all Exif info.

If you use Adobe menu File - Save As - JPG, it will retain the basic Exif info, exposure and such, sufficient for here.

If you want to retain ALL of the Nikon Exif info, then do not overwrite your original camera image file.

Do you have an "administrative" tab at the top of this thread? If so, you can close it from there. If you don't have that option, then a moderator has to close it for you.

Here is where I get confused. I was responding to somebody who didn't know how to close a thread. I don't know how I ended up in this thread or maybe I just hallucinated another thread. :confused:
Sorry about the confusing response. :eek:
