I sometimes run across insects or spiders that I have a hard time finding on the internet. Not saying they aren't there, just that I can't seem to match up something with what I have taken a picture of. Thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where folks could post a picture of a small invertebrate that they are having trouble identifying. Not sure if there are any experts here, but with a large enough pool of people, somebody is bound to know what you've got.
Here's one to start it off. I shot this guy this morning in the backyard. Did a quick search and came up with bupkis. For some reason the head reminds me of Pilot from Farscape. He looks like he'd be a mean character, if he weren't so small. Yeah, I know, yellow on yellow. I couldn't choose the background he had behind him.
