Also, try putting in a freshly charged battery and a formatted card. Clean the contacts in the mount too with a piece of cloth. Do it carefully and make sure you discharge static electricity before doing so. Also try using it on Manual mode.

Hope you figure it out.

Exactly what was the last thing you were doing with the camera, what type of pictures were you taking, when it was actually working?

Is this exact error message shown in the Error section of the manual, page 224-226.

1st try....

hello, try cleaning the terminls but seem d same, when click the sounds and clicking seems ok autoclicks, manual, live view only no display but nothing registering in my sd, but if u view it from the viewfinder inside it seems ok the meters are working well etc, except there is still on the left side that appears ERR even without sd . sometimes when i switch on with d sd inside the lcd glass hour appears so long and the yellow lights is also on then in the viewfinder normal inside including beeps ok the meter is working well and also if i focus the lens its ok inside but again with the glass hour on the screen up to now and yellow light.

2nd try....

then now everything works except no lcd view no err anymore inside but the glass hour still displays on the screen and the yellow lights plus no pictures in my sd

3rd try...

if i switch off the yellow light still ON, the meter inside the view finder is still on

4th try...

switch on no lcd display no yellow lights but inside viewfinder everything ok including metering if ill adjust the lens focusing and also the flash is ok

5th try....
switch on everything is off except yellow lights on and inside view finder ERR and iso setting on display

thanks you sir for replying

I think you might have a problem. Why not take it back to the store where you bought it and have them look at it? If you bought it locally that is... The only other thing I would suggest would be to take the battery out and leave it out four at least 24 Hrs. Then, put it back in and do a reset (see your manual), format your cards in the camera, and then try it again. It that doesn't work, I think you'll have to send it back for a warranty repair.

I have seen/heard of similar issues like this before.

Before you take it back try this . . .

Turn camera "On" and rotate the power switch all the way over to the "Bulb" symbol and hold there for a few seconds.

Turn camera "Off" and remove battery.

Replace battery and turn camera "On" and try to use it as normal.
