Nice image Neal, difficult subjects; to get the Moon without being overexposed, and Venus without fringing or trailing.
I have to post my image of the Moon and Mercury from a few years back just to show how similar they are, you need some kinda foreground to make it work. Taken with my old D50 at 300mm.
I was going to ask for a 'star trails' thread, but now I see 'Low Light and Night' so that's cool.
