LR> CC photoshop CC ?

Just received this new laptop. And computer geek I'm not.

Question is how do you move the LR and Photoshop Photos from old laptop to the new one ?

Just finished loading LR CC and Photoshop CC on new laptop. Opened up Lightroom and no photos there.

You need an identical directory structure on your new laptop and you need to copy the old catalog file over. Oh, oh so many tutorials on this if you just use Google. Beats us having to type it all out.

If they are both connected to the same network you can import from the old lightroom catalog to the new LR. When I was on vacation I used LR on my laptop and also backed up the folders to a portable hard drive. When I got home all I did was import from the portable hard drive to my main computer. All edits and keywords were transferred.
