If they look quite different, I suppose you could have found yourself a 3/8" threaded rail. If they look similar, but don't fit, maybe its just a bad thread that could be cleaned up. Most all of our cameras have a 1/4-20 thread in the camera tripod socket. The only two tripod screw sizes I know of are 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. They look noticeably different in size with the 3/8 thread being 1/8" (~3mm) larger. So if your rail looks like it should fit, check the threads. Maybe post a picture.</p></blockquote><p></p>
