Hi folks,
I've been gone for a while,and I can't get this website offshore.
I'm back for a while now!!!
I bought a slider rail for doing macro (non returnable), and discovered when it arrived that it doesn't fit the thread on my quick release plate for my tripod!!!
Anyone got any bright ideas?:nightmare:

Do they look to be a similar size? If they look quite different, I suppose you could have found yourself a 3/8" threaded rail. If they look similar, but don't fit, maybe its just a bad thread that could be cleaned up. Most all of our cameras have a 1/4-20 thread in the camera tripod socket. The only two tripod screw sizes I know of are 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. They look noticeably different in size with the 3/8 thread being 1/8" (~3mm) larger. So if your rail looks like it should fit, check the threads. Maybe post a picture.
